This one is a matte finish, which reads soft and natural and gives better grip underfoot than a gloss, so it suits shower and bathroom floors as well as walls. Mosaics come face-mounted or mesh-backed on sheets for easier laying. Grout colour makes a big difference with mosaic, since there is so much of it: a white or pale grey grout keeps the clean marble look and blends with the white, while a charcoal grout would pick out the grid and echo the veining.
