Botticino is a luminous pearl-white marble with soft ivory undertones and a clean, serene character.
The colour is a pearl-white lifted by warm ivory undertones, so it reads as bright without tipping cold. Delicate cloudy movement drifts through the stone, quiet and even rather than strongly veined, which is what gives Botticino its calm, classic look. Over a large floor or wall it settles into a soft, luminous neutral, with the movement showing gently up close. It is a longstanding favourite for exactly that reason, and it works with almost any scheme: white joinery, timber, brass, black tapware or warm neutrals.

Botticino is a marble, so it wants a bit more care than the travertines in the range. It is softer, etches with acids, and needs sealing once it is down, which makes it best suited to areas where it will be seen rather than worked hard. Being a pale marble, marks and etching show more than they would on a darker stone, so be realistic about traffic before committing it to a busy floor. Where it earns its keep is bathrooms, splashbacks, feature walls and any space you want to feel light and calm. The gentle movement runs well over a large area without becoming busy. A honed finish is flatter and more forgiving, and on a pale marble it hides day-to-day marking noticeably better, which makes it the safer pick for floors and benchtops.
