Vanguard Lake Blend is a serene blend of turquoise, seafoam, sandy beige and soft blue.
The character comes from the mix. Turquoise, seafoam, sandy beige and soft blue pieces are blended across the sheet, so instead of a single colour the surface reads warm and coastal, the cool turquoise and blue lifted by the sandy beige for a natural, lake-like feel. Across a pool the mix reads serene and organic, like clear water over a sandy bed. Because the pieces are mixed, each sheet has natural variety. It works with pale stone, timber, white joinery, brass and warm, relaxed, coastal schemes.

Where it works
Mosaic is a feature material, and Vanguard Lake Blend's warm turquoise-and-sand mix is made for pools. The blend of turquoise, seafoam, sandy beige and soft blue gives a pool a natural, lake-like water look, warmer than a pure blue, so it comes into its own across pool waterlines and full pool interiors, and it works on bathroom feature walls, splashbacks and spa surrounds. The small format lets it follow curves and wrap corners in a way sheet tiles cannot, which is why mosaics suit pools and rounded walls. The sandy beige in the mix reads especially well over a large pool, giving that warm, shallow-water look. Whether this particular mosaic is rated for pool and full wet-area use depends on the material and backing, so that is worth confirming. Mosaics usually come face-mounted or mesh-backed on sheets for easier laying, and the individual pieces may be glossy, matte or a mix. A glossy finish lifts the turquoise and blue and suits pools and water features. Grout colour makes a big difference with mosaic, since there is so much of it: a sandy or pale grout keeps the warm, natural coastal feel and works with the beige, while a mid blue-grey grout cools the overall tone.
