P.Di Vars is a porcelain tile that gives you the look of natural slate with the durability of porcelain.
The colour is a cool slate-grey with soft blue undertones, printed with subtle linear movement and a textured character that reads like real riven slate. Because it is porcelain, that look repeats across the range in a controlled way, so you get natural character without the flaking or tonal lottery of natural slate. Over a large floor or paved area it reads as a calm, contemporary grey with quiet linear texture. It suits modern schemes and sits well with concrete, timber, render, black fixtures and greenery, indoors or out.

Where it works
Porcelain behaves very differently to natural stone. It does not need sealing, it does not etch or flake the way natural slate can, and it takes far more wear, which makes it a low-maintenance choice for busy areas. At 20mm, this is a structural paver, the format made for outdoor use: pool surrounds, alfresco areas, paths and courtyards, where it can go over pedestals, on a gravel or sand bed, or bedded traditionally. The slate look gives you a cool, contemporary finish outdoors without the upkeep and layering issues of real slate. The 20mm thickness also means strong slip resistance and load capacity for external paving. The recommended applications are still being confirmed, so contact us and we can advise on the right fit for your job, indoors or out.
Choosing a finish
Available finishes:TBC
Porcelain pavers of this kind usually come in a textured, matte, structured finish built for grip underfoot, which is what you want around pools and outdoors, and it suits the riven slate look particularly well. Unlike natural stone, the finish is consistent tile to tile. If a matching thinner tile is available for indoor floors to carry the same look inside, it is worth asking, since 20mm is heavy for internal work. If you are unsure which finish or format fits your project, give us a call and we can talk it through.
