3D Grey Pacific Marble

3D Grey Pacific is a dramatic silver-grey marble, cut through with bold charcoal veining and crisp white movement.

The base is a silver-grey, but the veining is what carries this stone. Heavy charcoal bands run through it, broken by sharp white movement that lifts the darker areas and gives the surface real depth. The variation is striking, so no two pieces read the same and the pattern shifts noticeably across a run. Over a large area it makes a statement rather than sitting quietly, and it reads clearly from across a room. It works with white joinery, timber, concrete, black tapware and brushed metals.

Where it works

3D Grey Pacific is a marble, so it wants a bit more care than the travertines in the range. It is softer, etches with acids, and needs sealing once it is down, which makes it best suited to areas where it will be seen rather than worked hard. With veining this strong it does its best work as a feature. A slab on an island end, vanity or feature wall lets the pattern run properly, where a large tiled floor can start to feel busy. The 406 x 812mm size is a good middle ground if you want the drama on a wall without going to slab. Lay pieces out dry before you fix anything, since the variation from tile to tile is significant. The recommended applications for this stone are still being confirmed, so contact us and we can advise on the right fit for your job.

Choosing a finish

Available finishes: Honed and polished finish with a smooth, refined surface and subtle sheen that enhances the marble’s layered grey tones and striking three-dimensional veining.

As a guide with marble, a polished finish drives the contrast hardest and brings the white movement up brightest against the charcoal, which suits vanities, splashbacks and feature walls, though it shows wear and etching more readily. A honed finish softens the contrast and is more forgiving, and holds up better on floors and benchtops in daily use. If you are unsure which finish fits your project, give us a call and we can talk it through.

Order a sample

Order a sample to see 3D Grey Pacific in your own light before you commit. With variation this strong a single piece will not tell the full story, so it is worth seeing a few together or asking about slab photos before you order.
