Eco Stone Storm Matte is a sophisticated mix of storm grey, soft silver and charcoal with subtle marble veining, in a matte finish.
The colour blends storm grey, soft silver and charcoal, run through with subtle natural veining and tonal variation, so the surface has real depth and movement rather than reading as one flat grey. It has a layered, marbled character, a mid-to-deep grey with lighter and darker notes moving through it. Across a floor or wall it reads refined and contemporary, calm but with interest up close. The matte finish keeps it soft and natural rather than glossy. It pairs well with timber, concrete, white joinery, black tapware and brass, in both warm and cool schemes.

Where it works
Mosaic is a feature and detail material, and this storm-grey blend is the layered, characterful neutral. It suits bathroom floors and walls, shower floors and niches, splashbacks and feature panels, where a grey with movement belongs. The small format and mesh backing make it a good choice for shower bases and curved or shaped areas, since the pieces follow a fall to the drain and wrap corners in a way sheet tiles cannot. The matte finish gives more grip underfoot than a gloss, which suits wet floors, and the mid-to-deep tone hides marking well. If this is a natural stone mosaic rather than glass or porcelain, it will want sealing and a bit of care, so that is worth confirming for the finish and use. The recommended applications are still being confirmed, so contact us and we can advise on the right fit for your job.
Choosing a finish
Available finishes: TBC
This one is a matte finish, which reads soft and natural and gives better grip underfoot than a gloss, so it works on shower and bathroom floors as well as walls. Mosaics come face-mounted or mesh-backed on sheets for easier laying. Grout colour makes a big difference with mosaic, since there is so much of it: a mid grey grout close to the tone keeps it seamless, while a paler or darker grout would pick out the grid against the blend. A mid grey grout is usually the right call here. If you are unsure which finish, backing or grout suits your project, give us a call and we can talk it through.
