As a guide with limestone, a honed finish gives a smooth, natural matte face that suits internal floors, walls and living areas, and shows the greige tone and fossil markings cleanly. A brushed or textured finish adds grip underfoot, which makes it the safer pick for wet areas, pool surrounds and outdoor use.
